Public Transportation

Arthur Ashe Stadium is strategically located near the train lines. Thus, it is best for visitors to use these public transportations for a lower cost, more convenient, and quicker travels:

  • Subway:
Hop on the 7 train from Grand Central Terminal to Mets-Willets Point Station. The 7 train is also connected to all Metro-North Trains from Westchester and Connecticut. You will also be able to catch the train at Port Authority Bus Terminal.
  • Long Island Rail Road:
Services are from Mets-Willets Point Station from Woodside and there are convenient connections from Penn Station for New Jersey Transit customers. For disabled guests, you are to get off the LIRR train at 61st/Woodside Station and transfer to the 7 train. Take the 7 train to Mets-Willets Point Station where the railroad personnel will be there to assist.

NOTICE: Public transport may be busier than normal on days of major events. Please plan accordingly. We would always recommend taxi as the easiest and stress free option as it is avoids all potential parking and public transport problems.
